CF Holiday Gift Baskets and PMR Physician Presentation
The holiday seasons can be tough for many CF families with financial burdens due to high medical bills and beyond, making it difficult for many households to purchase gifts during this time of the year. The holidays should be a festive time for everyone, especially children who should not have to face consequences due to an illness out of their control. In order to support children with Cystic Fibrosis, Cure Found led this event to make gift baskets with various toys, board games, cards, books, stuffed animals, and more which will be donated to local CF clinics. Additionally, MSU Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician, Dr. Jamieson Haak, presented on his journey through medical school at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency at MSU Health Care. This session consisted of a discussion in regards to medical school finances, various speciality opportunities, and the day to day life of a resident and attending physician. Additionally, Cure Found members were able to make holiday gift baskets for CF kids
