Atef Choudhury
Atef Choudury serves as the president and founder of Cure Found MSU. He is currently a sophomore in MSU Lyman Briggs College and Honors College studying Neuroscience with a minor in Business on a pre-med track. Upon graduation, Atef hopes to attend medical school and eventually specialize in Hematology/Oncology. Cystic Fibrosis hits close to home for Atef as his nephew was diagnosed with CF upon birth back in 2017. After observing his and his family’s struggles, Atef was committed to spreading awareness for this rare, genetically inherited disease that currently has no cure for it. During high school, Atef fundraised for Cystic Fibrosis and hosted a Community Day event to make capes and cards for CF kids in the hospital. This motivated him to start Cure Found at MSU in order to reach a wider audience and continue advocating for Cystic Fibrosis patients.
